Contactless patient monitoring

CAPEMO (Contactless Patient Monitor) is a contactless monitoring system for medical applications.

The system uses optical sensor technology to monitor people’s vital signs without physical contact. Among other things, it analyses heart rate, oxygen saturation, body temperature, respiratory rate and blood pressure.

The underlying technology is based on the optical analysis methods that are also used for liveness detection within the MIDAS identification technology.

CAPEMO enables continuous, contactless monitoring of patients and can be used in both medical facilities and home environments. The system is currently still at an early stage of development and is undergoing continuous refinement.
