Biometric access system

EDGAR (Electronic Door Guard) is a biometric access control system based on the identification technology of the MIDAS platform.

The system enables secure access control for buildings, security zones and critical infrastructure. EDGAR combines biometric identification, liveness detection and traditional authentication methods.

In addition to biometric methods, other factors can be incorporated, including RFID or NFC tokens, as well as user input via an integrated touchscreen.

All accesses are documented and can be logged in an audit-proof manner. This makes EDGAR particularly suitable for safety-critical areas.

The system is currently at an advanced stage of development and can already be implemented in a variety of scenarios.
